Our high quality gold plated pieces are plated with a thick layer (1-2.5 microns) of 18k gold. This is far exceeding the typical industry standard, which can be as thin as 0.03 microns - known in the industry as ‘flash plating.’

To maintain the beauty and lustre of your plated piece, we recommend removing your jewellery before swimming, bathing or exercising. Prolonged exposure to water and moisture can compromise the gold coating and cause tarnishing. We recommend that you gently polish your jewellery with a polishing cloth, and store in a cool, dry place when not in use..
