Launceston Dietetics and Honey Fawn Boutique have teamed up to provide parents in our local community a free information session to discuss the following topics in regards to our teenagers:
- Body image and school formals
- Red flags for disordered eating
- The allure of diet culture
- Tips to preparing to shop for school formals

When: Tuesday October 22nd 5.30pm
Why: This event is perfect for those who:
- Have current concerns about their teenager/s body image or eating and want advice on where to go
- Want to understand red flags in adolescents for disordered eating
- Want to ensure they are encouraging healthy body image behaviours
- Don’t know where to start in the school formal shopping process
RSVP: This event is free but registration is required and limited
Whilst we encourage you to have open dialogue with your teenagers, we recommend this event solely being for parents only, so that everyone feels safe to be open and ask questions.
You will be welcome to browse the dresses in store, however no change rooms will be available to try on items.
